There are often times people need to use a special character (examples: © ¢ £) or even a letter (examples: ü Ã ń) not on their keyboards to spell a word properly.
The easiest way to do this follows (though there are other ways, and indeed other ways need to be used when writing HTML):
Click START
Now click RUN
Now type, with out the ', 'charmap' and hit ok.
Find the character you need select it and click copy.
Now you can paste it where needed.
