Gibraltar - it's future ?

I know this is controversial. But it is an issue. Is the 'Rock' to be
forever British, or should it be given back to Spain ?

I don't know if Spain suffers from the same influx of niggers and paki's as we do, it may even be whiter!

Spain is pretty much going the same road France and England have taken. The big cities(Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, etc.) are chock-full of all sorts of immigrants and Gypsies. Some neighborhoods are already majority non-White. It still hasn't gone as bad as France or England, but it will get there soon enough.

Personaly I think this should forever be down to the people of Gibraltar. It would appear that the majority want to remain a part of the UK for whatever reason, and therefore that is how they should remain.

However, if this was to change in the future then sovriegnty should be handed back to Spain.

would this same rule apply to Ulster?

if the majority wanted united ireland would that be ok then?

I don't really think it's a question of what we or what the people of Gibraltar think. In the end it's who has got the strength to either defend it or to take it away from us. The way Britain is becoming weaker and weaker I think one day Spain will say 'boo' to Tony and he will back down and hand it to them on a plate. It's called Realpolitik I think ... or in simple English, who's got the balls to stand up for what he thinks. :(

Gibraltar's going back to Spain after long, like it or not. Spain's claims are strong and UK's position is weak and what's it worth anyhow? UK doesnt give a shit about Englishmen why should it care about Gibraltarans?

Worser fates than being part of Spain, anyhow.

The fight against non-White invasian is a pan-European one anyway. No country in the EU can be allowed to be historically nonWhite such as Turkey. No country in the EU should be allowed to let in any substantial numbers of non-White immigrants as citizens refugees or even temporary residents. It's got to be stopped everywhere.

One of the main reasons Britain never wanted to hand over Gib to the Spanish is that it refused to hand over British people to "El Pappa" (Franco) Nothing worse as the British government saw it than handing over Brits to a "fascist dictator" :D

I agree if the majority of the Gibbers wish to unite with Spain then that is fine by me.

Spain is very much a regionalist country. I would personally give Gibraltar back to Spain. Spain has a tradition of differing regions, I can't see what they, the 'Gibs' objections would be.

A possible thought might be , was Gibraltar 'a refuge' in the Spanish Civil War ? I would suspect so.

Well, the fact of the matter is the people of Gibraltar want nothing to do with Spanish authority. I don't believe the enclave on the rock is ethnicly English, yet they still don't wish to have any desire to be part of Spain. Further, to rub more salt in the Spanish wound: they, by 99-1%, won't even submit to a joint Spanish-British rule.http://www.globeandmail.com/servlet/ArticleNews/TPStory/LAC/20040805/GIBRALT05/TPInternational/TopStories
