I know there is at least one other raw food enthusiast on the forum. I, too really like raw food, and eat it often, though not exclusively.
These are my favorite raw foods:
1. Oysters
2. Mussels
3. Cherry Stone Clams
I never thought I would encounter anything on earth that tasted as good as raw oysters, until once in a bar in Annapolis, MA, a bartender suggested I try Cherry Stone Clams on the half shell. My God! They are delicious.
I would prefer to eat the three above shellfish with no sauce, whatsoever, but if they are mediocre I will use some lemon. Rarely, with oysters, I will use a red cocktail sauce.
4. Scallops
5. Most white fish
These should be marinated in lemon or lime juice for twenty minutes or so.
6. Beef
Yes! Good quality beef is excellent raw, and I have been eating beef raw all my life, though, of course, I eat cooked beef, as well. Slice the lean beef free of any visible fat or gristle, across the grain. A pinch of sea salt, and it is delicious.
7. Eggs (Free range, preferably organic). Mostly the yolks raw, but I will drop the whole egg into a broth. It will cook the egg, slightly.
There are always some idiotic rumors afloat about raw eggs being poisonous. Utter BS. Every damn creature on earth that can eat raw eggs, will do so, sometimes including the chickens that laid the eggs.
---
Rather than attempt to add posts to what I thought might be a serious post about food, I'm just going to edit this post. I left out what may be the two most obvious raw foods.
8. Tuna
9. Salmon

Please add your own favorite raw foods.
