US To Attack N Korea At
The End Of October?
From Bill Smirnow
8-24-4

From John Whitbeck -

Buried in an article in today's International Herald Tribune, without any particular emphasis, was a significant item of information: -- The United States has scheduled naval exercises off the coast of North Korea at the end of October.

I can imagine only one explanation for a decision to schedule such naval exercises (by definition, optional) at precisely that time. Bush-Cheney-Rove wants to have the option, if Bush's election does not appear assured in the week prior to election day, to either (1) seek to provoke a genuine North Korean attack on an American ship -- and retaliate or (2) in good Gulf of Tonkin style, claim a non-existent North Korean attack -- and retaliate or (3) launch a frankly "preventive" or "pre-emptive" attack against North Korea.

Where such courses of action would lead the region and the world cannot be determined in advance but, presumably, would be of limited concern to Bush-Cheney-Rove. Any of such alternative approaches to war would almost certainly assure the election of the Commander-in Chief on November 2.

Very interesting article. I suspect that with the poll numbers running the way they are that the Bush "people" will have to do something to ensure their win in November.

I have wondered for some time when Bush was going to attack the other two "axis of evil" countries he referred to in his State of the Union address. Election time would be perfect.

If Bushco decides to mess with North Korea next, they're going to get a whole lot more than they bargained for. It'll make Iraq look like a walk in the park. The place is hilly and forested and chock full of people who have a zeal for hating Bush and his people. America dropped more tonnage of bombs on North Korea in the Korean War than were dropped in ALL of WWII. And the North Koreans have not forgotten being blown into the stone age. If there is a 'war' against the poor country, look for plenty of missiles, bombs, and fighter activity with little or no ground troop activity. High tech, low risk war. Unfair war.

This is the run up to the modern usage of nuclear weapons. Target: last communist country on earth, North Korea.

I'm ashamed to call myself an American.

Low risk? For US maybe.. Not for S Korea or Japan who will get the brunt of North Korean retaliation. Especially S Korea. BTW, wasn't this high tech, low risk warfare tried in Yugoslavia? Militarilly it was completely unsuccessful, all it did was cause major civilian damage.

So US says: "We won't be able to stop Israel from bombing Iran." At the same time making provacotive moves against N Korea?

So interesting developments no? Is this world even going to exist in 50 yrs?

True, the N Koreans despise us, I remember reading that during one occasion during the Korean War, an American Major's fighter had been shot down well into N Korea and as the Russians were questioning all the captured Americans and taking the plane wreckage's back to Russia with them, they were on the way to this crash site. When they arrived they found the local villagers had torn the pilot apart. Literally. They said he was arrogant. Capitol crime there, I guess.

And the N Koreans are totally fanatical also. The last time I was in Vladivostok, (in the coastal Russian Far East) the S Korean Consular General was found stabbed to death in an apartment stairwell, less than a week after arriving to the newly-created post, a couple of "Asiatic" men were seen leaving the building. The Russians knew full well that the perps were N Koreans, just didn't know which N Koreans to arrest. I understand the S Koreans did not refill the position, knowing the outcome would be the same.

I made sure I spoke only my poor Russian and not English after that when asiatics were within earshot ;)

"Bush and his cronies in the Pentagon are going to bomb North Korea's nuclear plant at Yongbyon, timed to coincide with the US election!

The Pentagon plan also involves a US strike against North Korean heavy artillery nestled into the hills above the border with South Korea. The artillery directly threatens the giant city of Seoul, as well as about 17,000(so it is said) US troops stationed just south of the Demilitarized Zone.

In the Pentagon plan, the US strike would come as a response to North Korea beginning the reprocessing of 6 to 10 nuclear weapons by October.

This hawkish jew faction within the Pentagon will portray this leading not only to a nuclear-armed North Korea, but also to sales by Pyongyang of nuclear weapons to its friends in the Middle East, such as Syria and Iran.

The chickenhawks believe the precision strikes envisaged in the plan would not lead to North Korea's initiating a general war it would be certain to lose. The US would inform the North Koreans it was not aiming to destroy the regime of Kim Jong-il, but merely to destroy its nuclear weapons capacity.

In the weeks and months ahead the mighty Steve B will be vindicated in this and be seen as a sage and soothsayer among all VNNF members"!

C'mon guys, time to come back down to earth!

The Bush regime loves north korea, that's why you never see bush on the televitz waiving his cross around and giving north korea the flack. And lets not forget that north korea is communist. If you ask me: They're just doing a little naval drop-off of some more nuclear material to further increase korea's stockpile.

I haven't identified as an "American" for quite some time.
I prefer "Nova Europan" myself.

That is the way all the Europeans in the transatlantic new lands referred to themselves, e.g. New England used to be the name for all the english colonies (New Sweden, New Holland, Novia Scotia, etc.)

"New Europa" would be a good name for the new Aryan State in presentday USA.
eh....I like "Aryania" better
What's in a name? The interesting thing is, Nova Roma is actually further along the path to an autonomous homeland than we are.

They have an account for purchasing land; people have looked in to the legality of micro-currencies; etc.

An attack on North Korea is somewhere between unlikely and unthinkable. I often hear the phrase, “We didn’t learn our lesson in Vietnam.” The truth is we learned perfectly our lesson in Vietnam --- “Never fight anyone who can fight back.” Maybe not perfectly, though, the US couldn’t get the troops out of Mogadishu fast enough.

A big war is probably not what they want.

Maybe the Bushites are gambling that a tense situation with some cruise missile potshots will be enough to frighten the lemmings and re-elect Dubya.
