1 JUNE 06

Hail Chad! Many thanks for your letter of 28 MAY 06. I got a great letter from Mark P. Thanks for giving him my address. The more correspondents, the merrier. They are much more interesting than people around here in Brownest Yakima. Hey, your gulag food sounds good. Most people live & work to obtain food, clothing & shelter. They work long & hard to get them. As for “freedom,” one rabbi said, “Freedom for WHAT?” The jew psycho-quack, Erich Fromm, wrote a book entitled “Escape from Freedom,” which states in way too many words that most sheeple are ‘authoritarian personalities,’ who need to be told what to do. As my Sunday school teachers used to say: “If it comes from a jew, it MUST be true!” At least, that’s what they believed, despite the fact that Jesus called them “the children of the Father of Lies.” At any rate, I could see some truth in Fromm’s thesis, for I knew “institutionalized people” from prisons, hospitals, the armed forces & Communist countries who lacked initiative, for they had been told what to do, when to do it, &c. If there was no one to tell them, they’d just vegetate. Soldiers on leave would get drunk, because they could not think of anything else to do, but if one is required to work constantly just to survive, can we say he has ‘freedom?’ A person who has his necessities supplied has the opportunity to enjoy freedom FROM endless toil, & he may also find freedom TO be creative, even if he is physically confined. Freedom does not mean movement only, for it can also mean QUIET, which most sheeple lack on the outside. The alkie-hippie singer, Janis Joplin, sang that “Freedom’s just a way of saying ‘nothing left to lose.’” If that means poverty, with starvation & freezing, then I’d want no such freedom! Of course, one’s freedom to do what one deems right is often limited by one’s hostages, be they people or property. I knew Whites in Africa who wanted to keep their property so much that they lost their lives. I could see the obvious future of Black Marxist Misrule, so I acquired no immovable property, just as I would not acquire here, if I had the money to do so. Being able to walk away from danger is indeed a valuable freedom! “Traps & encumbrances” are also names for property, as Henry David Thoreau pointed out in his essays. I recommend his “Walden” in this regard. Many people are themselves ‘possessed’ by their possessions, & they spend their lives acquiring things, instead of doing things. Since I knew I could not do both, for lack of income, I chose to DO things, even if I had to travel 4th class. As a student in the 1950s, I often hopped freight trains to go home on Yule & Spring breaks. I wouldn’t recommend that these days! It was great to have a boxcar to oneself, so you’re out of the wind & dust, plus you may have two big picture windows so you can enjoy the view on either side of the tracks. Boxcars were more comfortable than passenger chaircars, since you could lie down & stretch out. Old hobos talk of “riding the rods” & “riding the blind.” This means riding under a car which is strengthened by steel rods & turnbuckles, & by riding on the back of the locomotive tender, where a fireman or conductor would not easily spot you. Such terms reveal one’s travel experience: Rods went out in the early 1930s & blinds went out when the steam locomotives were retired in the 1950s. I defined ‘freedom’ as ”that set of obligations which provide one with the most satisfaction.” This definition involves DOING, but being able to choose not to do is also freedom. Freedom is not possible without limits or restraints. One judge said that “My freedom ends where the tip of your nose begins.” We can interpret ‘freedom’ as being able to drive as fast as we want, anywhere, any time. The result of such freedom is often death, which tends to preclude more fast-driving. The freedom to take drugs includes the freedom to die of an overdose, &/or the slavery of addiction. As you say, freedom is often an illusion. I believe that Soviet dictator Nikita Khruschev said that “None are so enslaved as those who think they are free.” Freedom is therefore like ‘security,’ which exists in our own minds, at all times. One veteran told me that his idea of security was a fresh shell crater. “To each his own,” as they say.

I also sought a career in journalism, but one’s opportunities to earn a living as a journalist in the 1950s were limited to the print media. Few radio/TV & movie newscasters were real journalists, but merely news-readers, as they are today. The journalist gets the facts: The 5 Ws & the H: who, what, when, where, & why, if possible, plus how? When he answers these questions, he has his story. Newspaper style is called “The Inverted Triangle.” The object is to put all relevant facts in the first sentence, so the editor can snip all the rest & still have the basic story. Nowadays, anyone can be a journalist if he wants to be, but being paid is something else. If I wanted to write newspaper stories, I’d have to buy my own newspaper, if I couldn’t get a job with an existing newspaper or magazine. Now, I can start a Blog on the Internet & I can write what I like to please myself, not some editor with his blue pencil. Even if I’m not paid, I can express myself very cheaply, & I can get feedback from my readers. I am not on the Internet myself, but I have colleagues who put my writings thereon, which I send via snail-mail. I do not use E-mail, for the additional volume would require me to hire a secretary. There are only 24 hours in a day, & my brain thinks only so fast, regardless of technology! I told one correspondent: if I received phonecalls, snail-mail, E-mail & visitors 2 hours a day, where would I find any time for eating, sleeping, &c.? That would be slavery, not freedom. In the USA, journalism is deemed a right & a duty: your right to inform yourself & your duty to inform others, your fellow citizens & voters, co they can make intelligent decisions at the ballot box on election days. I was brainwashed to believe that, & that’s how I got in trouble with FEDZOGUSA in 1968, resulting in my exile to Africa in 1969. That’s how I learned that we have ‘rights’ in the USA, as long as we can get away with them. Sure, we’re ‘free’ as long as we don’t get caught! Honest dictatorships do not encourage their citizens to get into trouble, but the USA regime does. That proves we live in a hypocrisy, not a democracy.

I appreciate the power of words, but I am aware of their limitations. Truth makes no one free, unless it is heeded. The masses of asses, that is, the sheeple, can receive as much truth as they are willing to hear or read, but rarely do they heed it, even if they acknowledge that it is true, for heeding truth would require them to change their behavior, which is as painful to sheeple as thinking! Studies have shown that fewer than one out of 20 have any leadership potential, & that one may be on the enemy side! This means that our potential for using information to change behavior is exceedingly limited, even in the best of circumstances. This certainly does not mean that we should cease informing ourselves, nor should we cease informing others, or attempting to do so. We should therefore choose our media so as to reach as many potential ‘live ones’ as possible. I could, for example, blanket Brownest Yakima with expensive fliers with my best thoughts thereon. Most of the population is illiterate, in English & in Spanish. If the fliers were in English, about 1/4 of the population would not understand a word. The English-speaking population is majority non-White, & the ostensible Whites are anti-White in the majority, so fliers would not be efficient to get the word out. Besides, I’d probably be charged with littering!

By preference & by force of circumstances, I communicate only to those who are interested in communication. This focusses my information to individuals, although I do write occasional items of general interest. A bonus factor is that some individual communications strike sympathetic chords in others, who also appreciate the information therein. Naturally, we can see form follows function. Rather than put information into a preconceived format, such as a news article, an essay or a column. I knew a publication which received letters from subscribers & correspondents who had specific questions of importance to themselves. The publisher hated letters, & he hated answering letters even more, so in answer to a letter, he’d ship the writer a box of standard publications, all of which may or may not have answered the correspondents’ questions & concerns! This method of responding to letters was expensive, & it annoyed most of the subscribers & correspondents. As one professor told us: “In the final exam, I do not want you to spew out everything you know or think you know. JUST ANSWER THE QUESTIONS!” This is my job, which may be described as a combination of journalist & corresponding secretary.

In regard to emotions, the writer’s job is to translate them into words so they may be communicated most effectively to the reader. Instincts give rise to our emotions. Emotions trigger the intellect so as to serve our instincts efficiently. That’s how sane, smart people behave. Otherwise, we achieve a SNAFU (Situation Normal, All Fouled Up): “When in trouble or in doubt, run in circles, scream & shout.” Emotions deprived of intellect often = dysfunctional behavior. Properly trained soldiers & emergency personnel channel their emotions in the service of their missions. Whites are in a state of emergency, so we must behave like well-trained emergency personnel ourselves, as political soldiers. Our choice of words must serve our mission. There are times for bold words, but never are words of bogus bravado appropriate, for the ZOG can easily call our bluffs, which is part of THEIR mission. Patrick Henry’s words were eloquent & sincere: “Give me liberty or give me death!” Hitler said that he “spoke with the eloquence of emergency.” Emotions’ mission is to marshal our words & our facts so as to communicate effectively. They fuel the engine of our thoughts, which may be expressed in spoken words as well as written ones. There are other communications media, such as pictures, music, songs, poetry & even sculpture, all of which may be combined to reinforce the message, on behalf of the mission. Multi-media presentations are effective at appealing to more senses than one, simultaneously, such as opera. Now that videocamcorders are cheap, there is no reason why we cannot make our own pro-White movies & other video presentations. Our only obstacle is ourselves! Mark Twain advised us to “dream better dreams.” Carl Jung said that’s what our Aryan imaginations are for, so we must not allow hostile aliens to dominate & pervert our imaginations against us, as we have so long suffered from Christinsanity. To achieve freedom, we must first desire it. Then we may find ways of obtaining it, for where there’s a will, there’s a way. That’s why Hitler’s great film was entitled “Triumph of the Will.” I do not deem communication as a burden, but as a privilege.

Learning & creativity usually require quiet, so one with an active mind like yours can benefit from such things, thanks be to ZOG. Were you on the outside of your fortress/palace, without your attentive servants, you would find yourself beset with all sorts of distractions, in addition to time pressure, which requires one to be other places & to do other things, throughout the day. As an unplanned retiree, I am, like you, able to establish my own order of priorities, so I can put creativity & correspondence first, so as to accomplish these priorities without interruption, distraction & disruption.

I hope you enjoy my two Odinist shortstories, “The Awakening” & “Return to Spring Island.” I had no trouble composing them, for they were dreams, which I simply wrote down after I woke up. Dreams are usually brief clips, rather than coherent features with a plot & character development, so when I have those, on rare occasions, I capture the memories in writing, while they are still fresh. Novels & short stories are another medium of conveying a message, for fiction can depict the essence of one’s meaning exactly as the author chooses. In fiction, the author becomes godlike, by creating characters & having them do as he wishes. He can tell his story in the first or third person. In first person narrative, the reader learns about the action through the eyes of the story-teller, but in the third person, he can see the action, seemingly through his own eyes, as if he is participating in the action. A good writer & story-teller can make use of such conventions most effectively. There is nothing quite like ‘being there’ in a story, as distinguished from a synopsis, in which the reader is put at a distance from the story & the action. The writer can use his words the way a movie cameraman can use his skill to portray the action & the actors at angles, close up, or at a distance, in which the actors are shown in their context of place & action. Early movies were often motion picture portrayals of stage plays, with a heavy reliance on dialog, rather than action, usually for economic reasons, for it’s much cheaper to talk about an event, rather than portray it in action! Now, movies can take advantage of their potentials with lots of action, outdoor settings & location shots, as well as dubbed in, perfect sound. Digital technology melds cartoon animation with live actors in such a way that the viewer makes no distinction. When the hero flies off a skyscraper & does aerobatics without visible means of support, the viewer can deduce that’s where the digital or trick photography begins, for a real character would plummet to the street below, & splatter. Early movie actors & stuntmen took big risks because of the limitations of their medium. Ouch! For those with something to say, there are many ways of saying it.

I suppose I am something of a ‘word-criminal’ or ‘rogue scholar’ in some people’s minds. A few correspondents suggest that I write an autobiography, but I’m too busy, so I’ll let others invent one for me. I will not list all the stories made up about me over the decades, which may appear on the Internet. The latest (to my knowledge) is that “E.T. is a former CIA operative who supervised Mossad hit-teams on behalf of U.S. assassinations, worldwide. Kissinger’s ‘get well’ message to Archbishop Makarios refers, which I received from a Greek correspondent. The source in Australia who made up my CIA/Mossad story purports to know so much more about me than I know about myself that I shall leave my ‘autobiography’ in the hands of his disinformation bureau. Scottish poet, Robert Burns, wrote that it would be a great gift if we could see ourselves the way others see us. If I’m around when my ‘autobiography’ appears, I shall find it surprising, as well as entertaining. I guess that would be a new category of literature: biofiction. When a local woman told me she was going into The Yakima Harlot-Repulsive office to file her husband’s “‘bitchoary’” I asked her if he was still complaining. She meant “obituary,” but that was the best a Yakimoron can do with the English language or any other language. That’s why people who speak English correctly are often called “foreigners.” You will note in Hebrewood movies that the villains are now blond & they speak correct English, while the heroes are dark & hardly speak at all. This is anti-White propaganda, using Pavlovian association tactics: “Ugh, White bad; dark good.” Such propaganda, repeated endlessly, makes an impression in our subconscious minds, even when we know the propagandists’ intentions. That’s why I shun most Hebrewood outpourings. I see the results on a day-to-day basis, in the herd behavior of the sheeple. Don’t let the bastards grind you down. DOWZ! & ORION!
