Fredrik Haerne, maybe you can answer this. I'd welcome info from anybody in Europe who might be able to help:

While I was in Norge I used to be able to buy sliced, uncooked bacon that was sold in cans. The brand name was DAK and I think it was a 500 gram can by weight. I have not been able to find this product here in the states. Does anyone know if canned bacon is still being sold in Europe ? The DAK brand isn't crucial, I'd be interested in any brand name. No further assistance is required, if it is available I can make arrangements if you could let me know the brand name and where it can be purchased. It was a great product and I don't even know if it's still being produced.

Thanks,

Nick

The DAK brand is sold in supermarkets here in California. I see the brand all the time.

Thanks. I'm looking specifically for canned bacon. Do you know if that's available ? DAK puts out a lot of other stuff like ham and sausage. I haven't been able to find canned bacon which I know they used to produce. I've never seen it in a store here though.
