CLAYTON -- Two men burst into a Pagedale home Wednesday to take back a TV that had been stolen from them, and one of them fatally shot a man inside, authorities said.
The victim was Brent Cole, who lived on the 1200 block of Verl Place, police said.
A criminal complaint filed in St. Louis Circuit Court today said Maurice Montgomery, 20, of Overland, and Cortez Jones, 20, of University City, went to Cole's house to rob him of the TV. Both flourished firearms, ordering Cole and an unidentified person to unhook the TV and carry it outside.

Cole began to scuffle with Montgomery, and Montgomery ordered Jones to shoot Cole, according to the complaint. Jones broke up the fight, but then started to scuffle with Cole. Then he fatally shot him.
Cole and Montgomery were later arrested by county police officers and charged with second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. Each is being held in St. Louis County Jail on $100,000 bond. __________________
