Their religion is a degraded form of what our ancestors believed in. Hinduism is very close to the religion of the ancient Arya.

In order that they may marry again and thus obtain another dowry, Muslim men in both Britain and Pakistan sometimes burn their wives to death. The police make a point of not investigating such deaths.

There is also an idol of Lord Shiva. There are also idols of Lord Subrahmanya, with those of His Divine Consorts, Valli and Deivayanai. Not forgetting Ganesh the Elephant God, Shiva and Kali the destroyer, and Roland Rat the Rat idol.

Amongst the idols which the Indian worships, the funniest is the 'lingam' (or Penis, carved from stone / wood etcetera). 'Shiva Lingams' are very popular with the Indian womenfolk who if barren, will mount a stone idol (Lingam) in the hope that it will "put a brown bun in the oven".

Yeah I was there in manchester in the early 70's too. You may recall their Modus Operandi.
The Hare Krishnas used to populate Market Street and Piccadilly Square handing out 'free' LPs, and any mug punters such as us UMIST students and Manchester Polytechnic crew who took one, who would then be asked for, and 'embarassed' into paying money for the crappo Hare Krishna LP.

At that point a surprising number of Hare Krapna LP's would be used as 'Frisbees' by the aggrieved parties reluctant to pay cash for krap. The 'free' LP would be skimmed and 'launched skywards t'other side of street especially after the lunchtime staple food of Boddingtons had been injested.
