An innovative concept, but I don't really see any feasible way to apply it on your own. Then again, I'm no engineer. At least not yet.

I think a modular design might be more practical.
I read somewhere about a high-strength super light weight concrete with plastic fibers fixed in, and extra plasticiser added.
