Po nalogu veterinara na imanju u Plovaniji, čiji je vlasnik žestoki borac za južnu granicu Joško Jorac, bagerom je iskopana kobila Dana. Leš životinje nakon toga je prebačen u Rijeku kako bi se zakopala na predviđen način, piše Barkun.

Joras je kobilu dobio na poklon od članova Kulturnog i etnološkog društva Gallus Bartholomaeus iz Šentjerneja u svibnju prošle godine.

Stanovnici Buja rekli su kako je Joras kobilu zakopao u ponedjeljak, te da su na terenu bile inspekcijske službe. Rajka Lesić-Mudrić, županijska veterinarska inspektorica nadležna za to područje nije željela komentirati cijeli slučaj, već je novinarima Barkuna spustila slušalicu.

Informacije o smrti kobile su kontradiktorne, neki pričaju da je uginula, a drugi da je ubijena. Međutim, postoje točno određeni propisi o zbrinjavanju uginulih životinja, a time se bave nadležne državne službe.

A Croatian court sentenced a man to 12 years in jail for sexually abusing his wife, including forcing her to have intercourse with dogs.

The Croatian Supreme Court ruled the 47-year-old Osijek, Croatia, man, whose name was withheld, was guilty of raping his wife, 33, and forcing her to perform the sexual act with their three dogs.

Early in 2008, the man suspected his wife was cheating on him. He then raped and beat her before going after her alleged lover.

In the meantime, the wife told her mother who informed police.

Before officers arrived, however, the man brought the alleged lover to the couple’s apartment, and forced him and the wife to engage in intercourse, the daily said.

Tell me, is this type of activity still common in croatia these days? I naively assumed that such practices had ceased some time ago, obviously I was wrong. Is outlawing this colourful national tradition one of the key demands for EU membership or is that institution indifferent to the tragic plight of dogs in your country?
