I know for a fact that the towers contained a missionary team, as one of the ministers from NYC came to the college I attended a couple weeks after it happened, to recruit new missionaries.

I saw the pictures of the fire fighters, EMS workers, and cops,in the NY Post it was 95% White. Non-Whites are very talented at making themselves scarce in those situations.
