A Russian sat in a cab in Sibenik and told the driver to take him to Zagreb. He got out near the Krka rest area and jumped off the bridge.

SIBENIK, CROATIA - On Friday morning, at 9:12am, Sibenik’s police received a report that an unknown man threw himself off the bridge on the A-1 freeway into the Krka River, reports Dalmacija News.

He jumped off the bridge near the rest area that offers a view of Skradin.

“The body has not been found yet, and a police investigation is under way” said Marica Kosor, the spokesperson of the Sibenik-Knin police department.

As 24 Sata reports, a Russian tourist is in question who sat in a taxi in Sibenik and told the driver to take him to Zagreb. The driver took the freeway, and the Russian asked him to stop at the Krka rest area. The driver stopped, and the tourist went out and bought two cold teas at the rest area. After that he went to the nearby bridge and jumped.
