Stick a bottle of champagne in your refrigeratörs for Monday when the election results for Sachsen- and Brandenburg will be counted Volks. The DVU (Deutsche Volks Union) is running in Brandenburg and the NPD is running in Sachsen where the “Sächsiche Schweiz” is located which is home to the banned White Party “SSS” (Skinheads der sächsichen Schweiz).
For the 1st time in postwar German histöry, both DVU and NPD have joined forces by strategically omitting candidacy in each others’ territories. In other wörds, the NPD isn’t presenting any candidates in Brandenburg and the DVU isn’t presenting any candidates in Sachsen. This way, there’s a better chance of jumping the 5% hurdle. We might be seeing a Dagenham type of Landslide in Sachsen :cool:

This coming weekend also looks promising for a NPD win in Saxony.

NPD sympathy is growing in the discontented eastern states


The German National Party (NPD) is expected to record its best result in six years on Sunday when disgruntled voters in the eastern states of Brandenburg and Saxony go to the polls.


German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder recently called them the "brown sump," stating that anything to do with them "damages us, damages Germany and damages us with foreign investors."

He was referring to right-wing extremist parties which appear to be exploiting voter discontentment, specifically in the disadvantaged eastern regions of Germany, over a string of labor market reforms recently passed by the federal government, to gain further footholds in the political arena.

According to the latest polls, both the right-wing National Party (NPD) and German People's Union (DVU) parties appear set to clear the 5 percent hurdle needed to gain seats in the state parliaments at state elections in Brandenburg and Saxony this weekend. Just one week ago, the NPD scored 4 percent of the votes in the western German state of Saarland.

Bei diesem Urnengang ist in noch viel stärkerem Maße als früher davon auszugehen, daß antideutsch gesinnte Stimmenauszähler in den Wahllokalen zu Lasten der NPD Manipulationsversuche unternehmen werden. Wenngleich Wahlfälschung bei der Stimmenauszählung eher zur Herrschaftstechnik von mittelamerikanischen Bananenrepubliken gehört, gibt es in der BRD mittlerweile zahlreiche nachgewiesene Fälle von Wahlbetrug zum Schaden der nationalen Opposition. Deshalb sind alle Patrioten dazu aufgefordert, sich zehn Minuten vor der Schließung der Wahllokale (also um 17.50 Uhr) in diesen einzufinden, um als wachsame Beobachter der Stimmenauszählung beizuwohnen. Die Anwesenheit bei der Auszählung ist ein Bürgerrecht, das niemandem verwehrt werden darf und auf das bestanden werden kann! Im Wahllokal ist auf alles zu achten: Wird mit einem Stift in der Hand ausgezählt und womöglich ein NPD-Stimmzettel durch einen Federstrich ungültig gemacht? Wandert ein Stapel mit NPD-Stimmen durch einen anderen Stimmzettel als Deckblatt zu einer Systempartei? Der Betrugsmöglichkeiten gibt es viele.

Bei Unregelmäßigkeiten am Wahlabend bitte sofort die NPD-Landeswahlkampfleitung unter Sascha Wagner (Telefon 0163-8301284) einschalten, das Wahlergebnis (vor allem den Anteil »ungültiger Stimmen«) und die Bezeichnung des Wahllokals sowie den Namen des Auszählungsleiters notieren und weitergeben. In möglichst allen Wahllokalen Sachsens muß am 19. September die kritische Beobachtung des Auszählungsvorgangs sichergestellt sein.

Splendid news indeed! This is not just a British thing, or a German thing, this is a sign of mass European enlightenment. I expect this trend to continue. The onus now being upon the nationalist parties to consolidate. Making a difference when elected would be a good place to start.

Lets get our people in. And keep them there!
Here again we see the obvious merits of proportional representation. The German parties need only five percent of the vote to get parliamentary representation. You would think that all the minor parties in the US would form a tactical united front to get such a system passed in one or more states via initiative and referendum. But then again they may be comfortable in their impotence.

Germany: Radical right parties up to 9 percent

BERLIN

Voters in two east German states handed a sharp rebuke to mainstream parties Sunday, giving radical right parties up to 9 percent of the vote and a boost to the former communists, exit polls showed.

The votes in Brandenburg and Saxony reflected seething discontent with Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder's social welfare cuts and the persistently high unemployment in former communist East Germany.

In view of the increasing swamping of the country by foreigners
and the social impoverishment of the German people the Party
Executives of the DVU and the NPD have decided to not to obstruct
each other in the elections in Brandenburg and Saxony.

The Party Executives recommend nationalist voters to give their
support to the DVU in Brandenburg and to the NPD in Saxony. Any
electoral announcements already submitted will be withdrawn by
the DVU in Saxony and by the NPD in Brandenburg.

The goal in September, 2004 in both states is to send national
members into parliament.

Sorry for not answering you earlier. The email with the information about the talk and meeting was sent far and wide to many people on the 14.09 without the email addresses being hidden. I have been to many meetings in Freiburg and they have not been disturbed (although I have heard that in the past they have been). I will most probably attend talk next Friday and if so will speak to the regional leader about your concerns.

Die rechtsextremen Parteien NPD und DVU verbünden sich für die Bundestagswahl 2006. DVU-Vorsitzender Gerhard Frey sagte der "Leipziger Volkszeitung", er sei sich mit dem NPD-Vorsitzenden Udo Voigt "einig, unseren Vorständen zu empfehlen, dass DVU und NPD nicht gegeneinander antreten, sondern bei Landtagswahlen, der Bundestagswahl und Europawahl ihre Kräfte vereinen". Man wolle dauerhaft kooperieren.

Für Voigt basiert die Zusammenarbeit auf einer "Gleichrangigkeit" beider Parteien und ihrer Vorsitzenden. Kommende Woche soll bei einem Treffen mit Frey unter anderem geklärt werden, unter welchem Namen die Verbindung antreten will.

Die NPD-Spitze unterstützt außerdem ausdrücklich die Kandidatur von drei führenden Neonazis für den Bundesvorstand. "Wir wollen damit ein Zeichen setzen", sagte Voigt dem Magazin "Der Spiegel". Thomas Wulff, Thorsten Heise und voraussichtlich Ralph Tegethoff sollen am 30. Oktober kandidieren. Voigt ist überzeugt: "Mindestens einer wird in den Bundesvorstand gewählt."

Ins Umfeld der NPD rücken zudem 170 so genannte Kameradschaften mit rund 3000 Aktivisten. Das berichtet die "Leipziger Volkszeitung", die sich auf Sicherheitsbehörden beruft.
