Agencies - Palestinian premier Ismail Haniyeh reiterated on Wednesday his adherence to the national rights and constants and his rejection to recognize the Israeli occupation or to make concessions.
“We promise God, our people and the families of martyrs that we will never acquiesce or recognize the usurper's right to what he usurped of our blessed land,” premier Haniyeh underlined during a conference entitled “The right of a widow to live in dignity.”
He emphasized during his speech the status of women in the Palestinian community and the right of widows to live with dignity.
The conference addressed the most important problems faced by Palestinian widows and families who lost their breadwinners especially after statistics showed a significant increase in the number of widows whose husbands died during the last Israeli war.
