I've downloded CompuwareDriverStudio 2.7, there should be SoftIce,whitch should!!! work under XP.

After install (installs fine), when Ctrl+D he try to show the window, all is freezed(ICE is working) but window did not apear, i've done this in window mode and in text mode - the same thing. On trouble links I didn't find much.

Help me. OS - WinXP - how to make it to work normal.

DS 2.7 can't work under XP. You must download special patch.

You are wrong. It can. It's need to setup all security patches, requires osinfo.dat for XP. (Patches must be setup earlier than Driver Studio)

I tried the patch, when Ctrl+D the same, when Ctrl+D again to restore, video driver fails, and I continued without it (256 colors), in that regim SoftICE's window apears.

Patch is not working. Zervide, can you tell me whitch patch I shouldt have, and from where to get it ?

Or, exists some universal solutions in this case, when sIce is incompatible with video card ?

I don't remember where download a patch, can try to find in Yahoo.
It contain two files (ntIce and video driver special for XP). Good luck.

Problem may be in your hardware, like a video card, but universal video driver must working properly
