ZGram - Where Truth is Destiny
October 11, 2001
Good Morning from the Zundelsite:
I am often asked how I can pull together so quickly such diverse
information and choose a target article so quickly from such a wealth of
quality essays to keep my ZGrams focused. It is no secret, really: What
would I do without my faithful readers?
>From the beginning, I have had voluntary cyber scouts patrolling the net
and funneling data to me. All this has been spontaneous. I credit this
reader loyalty and enthusiasm for our struggle to the fact that I was one
of the very first who started sending ***daily*** email to revisionist
aficionados. In January it will have been seven years! I dream of a
sabbatical!
Today, three items from my readers:
[START]
Here's yet another item on what Americans really think. Very interesting
that the Izzies did this one entirely for themselves and haven't allowed it
to appear in 'American' media.
A poll released today by Reuters Israel, and not reported in America,
shows that 46% of Americans want to "rethink" the US relationships with
Israel -- ending military and economic aid, and ending US support for the
rogue terrorist state.
According to the poll, 58% of Americans saw US ties to Israel as "a
major" cause of the attacks on New York and Washington, and "Forty-six
percent said the United States should consider changing its Middle East
policies to reduce the violent backlash against it."
Only 43% of Americans said the US should continue supporting the Jewish
state.
52 - 56% of those surveyed said the US should end aid to Israel, Egypt
and the Palestinian Authority -- and end all foreign aid altogether.
The survey was in stark contrast to similar surveys conducted in recent
days by US news media, and in stark contrast to phoney statements in the
press that "90%" "95%" or even "80%" of Americans were "100%" behind their
leadership.
Even a poll today on CNN Online showed that as many as 13% of Americans
oppose the current bombing attacks on Afghanistan -- while US media were
reporting that "94%" of Americans had voiced support.

Also, this from the same ZGram reader who paid a quick visit to what we
call Absurdistan ever since the Hate Crimes Industry, directed by the
unsavory Canadian Holocaust Lobby, took over that once pristine and decent
country:
"If anything shows the pure Zionoid thought-control intent behind the
whole 'hate crime' swindle, this would be it. Note that they are going
after (1) a feminist, (2) likely lesbo and (3) possible non-White--to judge
by the name, which sounds vaguely Afro.
"Ordinarily, these would have been ironclad qualifications for hatee
victim status. But the Ziono agenda increasingly trumps all! Ernst must
enjoy these things, seeing 'em stewing in their own juice up there!"

Speaking Against War Is An "Anti-American Hate Crime" Canadian Professor
Faces Prosecution For Remarks
Vancouver, Canada -- University of British Columbia Women's Studies
Professor Sunera Thobani has been charged with a "hate crime" after
violating Canadian speech codes by speaking out against American foreign
policy.
Police today would not comment on the status of the investigation after an
unnamed Canadian filed the complaint, stating that a speech in which
Thobani said "U.S. foreign policy is soaked in blood" represented "anti-
American 'hate'".
Thobani claims she has only presented "facutal information about US
foreign policy", but under Canadian law, and most anti-hate laws, the
factual truth of a statement is not a defense if the statement offends
someone because of their ethnicity or nationality. In Canada and Europe,
so-called "Holocaust Deniers" have for years pleaded "factual truth", and
have often incurred additional charges for making statements that were
"offensive" in their attempt to defend themselves against charges of making
"offensive" statements.
There is some irony in that the laws, originally pushed by far left
groups, are now being used to prosecute them.
Earlier last month, the Canadian division of B'nai B'rith urged that
left-wing professors and students who made anti-American and anti-Israeli
statements be arrested and prosecuted for "hate speech" violations.

And, finally, there's Taki - a ZGram reader reminds me - that outspoken
British journalist who calls a spade a spade. Here is his take on things,
as published in Le Maitre | Volune 14, Issue 41:
[START]
"Ariel Sharon has to be the most myopic and pig-headed Israeli prime
minister ever. I am sad to say it, but his arrogance borders on insanity,
and it will cost America, as well as Israel, dearly.
Let's face it. Without America Israel would not exist. It would never have
survived 50 years of Arab aggression, and it is high time that Israelis and
Jews the world over came to realize that Islamic fundamentalist fanatics
hate America for its support of Israel.
Continuing to play hardball to satisfy a small core of Israeli voters is
craven and eventually self-defeating. Sharon and his clique do not seem to
realize that more people were killed on Sept. 11 than in all of Israel's
wars since independence in 1948. Equally ironically, both Sharon and bin
Laden share the belief that the Israeli lobby in Washington controls
American foreign policy.
Well, I got news for both. As Japan discovered back in 1941, Uncle Sam is
slow to anger, but when he gets there, there's hell to pay. Israel may be
America's loyal ally, but it has to be made to understand that neither
Israeli security nor Western interests are served by needlessly provoking
the Palestinians. Which Israel has done repeatedly with the establishment
of illegal settlements in territory that even Israeli hard-liners concede
should be under Palestinian self-rule.
Urged on by Jewish fundamentalist groups who demand the right to settle
the whole of ancient Israel, Sharon and his government seem to have lost
their bearings and are becoming as much a threat to peace as their Islamic
counterparts. Israeli security is not enhanced by these illegal
settlements. To the contrary.
In the past, other Israeli governments have made concessions and managed
to establish peace with Egypt and Jordan. Today, parochial concerns such as
the settlements in the West Bank put the settlers under fire and stir
unnecessary trouble between America and the Arabs.
Israel has to honor its longstanding obligations to America in the
latter's hour of need. For far too long Israeli extremists have been
calling Palestinians animals and vermin, stealing their water, humiliating
them at checkpoints, supporting the army's razing of their houses and
digging up of their crops. Sharon has to be made to understand that America
will no longer put up with Sabra and Shatila type of behavior.

=====
Thought for the Day:
"Americans were quick to blame the usual suspects: First and foremost,
Islamic militant, Osama bin Laden, who is hiding out in central
Afghanistan; then Afghanistan's rulers, the Taliban; and various extreme
Palestinian groups. Three weeks ago, bin Laden warned of "unprecedented
attacks" on the U.S. because of its total support of Israel.
"Other groups, however, cannot be discounted. (...) The Arab and Muslim
worlds are filled with enemies of America. The U.S. arms, finances and
protects Israel, whose repression of Palestinians is broadcast nightly on
TV to 1.2 billion Muslims.
