I always try to inform our customers of the technology and there is
always someone who tries to buy on the cheap and they have to learn on
their own. Jim's advice comes from outside the electronics sales dept
at your local dealership and I concur with him.

An extra piece of advice: Look for upconversion with a new receiver.
This allows the unit to be connected to the monitor via a single cable
regardless of the video input signal's format as follows:

composite video signals are converted to HDMI (VCR)
S video signals are converted to HDMI
componet signals are convert to HDMI (High
Definition)

Look for 2nd zones. A seven speaker receiver can use 5 in the theater
/ living room and 2 on the patio. The kids can watch a movie while you
are listening to the game while cooking BBQ on the grill.
