MassHunter GC/MS Acquisition Software B.06.01

This revision provides updates to the Agilent 7200 series Q-TOF GC/MS.

Here is what is new or changed in this revision:

New B.06.01 Acquisition Enhancements

In addition to changes from previous versions of Acquisition, B.06.01 includes

· 7200 series Q-TOF GC/MS

1. TOF Conditioning Panel will start automatically once vacuum has been reached

2. Bakeout button has been added to the Remove Ion Source Panel

3. Vent and Pump down dialog has been updated to continuously show the status of the instrument.

4. The autotune log has been changed to not record spectral data for ramps and quad profiles.

5. Improved CI gas status monitoring and display.

6. Removing Ion Source steps has been improved to handle faults and returning to a safe state if user aborts.

7. Continuous data acquisition in manual tune.

Windows Vista Business SP1 is no longer supported. GC/MS Acquisition B.05.02 is the last version that supports Windows Vista Business SP1.

No other languages or versions of Windows are supported.

MassHunter software requires the Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework to be present. See X:\Supplemental\tools\Framework\ReadMe.txt for more information on installing it if necessary.

GC and MS Firmware

· The GC firmware version must be the appropriate version listed above or later.

· The GC firmware is included on the MassHunter GC/MS Acquisition Software Installation DVD.

· MassHunter GC/MS Acquisition Software B.06.01 requires 7000 series Triple Quad GC/MS MS firmware revision G.7000.037F.

· MassHunter GC/MS Acquisition Software B.06.01 requires 7200 series Q-TOF GC/MS MS firmware revision G.7200.01.09.

· The MS firmware is included as part of the MassHunter GC/MS Acquisition Software installation, and is loadable via the Instrument Configuration program.

· Information on both current and previous MassHunter GC/MS Acquisition Software firmware revisions is contained on the Installation DVD:

· G4600AA/G4800AA Agilent Instrument Utility Software (rev B.01.06 or higher)

Printers and Drivers

· LaserJet P3005d:

This printer is fully tested and is supported.

The supported driver is PCL 6.

· Canon LBP3310:

For Japanese Windows, this printer driver is fully tested and is supported and is included on the Installation DVD.
