HP 849X Coaxial Fixed Attenuator Family

Product Summary

The HP 849X family is a line of fixed coaxial attenuators with performance specified to 50 GHz. These economical attenuators provide precision attenuation, flat frequency response, and low SWR over a broad frequency range which make them ideally suited for extending the range of sensitive power meters for higher power measurements. The HP 849X coaxial attenuators are available in nominal attenuations of 3 dB and 6 dB, also 10 dB increments from 10 dB to 60 dB.

Option 890 provides standardized test data in frequency steps no larger than 500 MHz over the frequency range of the attenuator. This data, generated from measurements made on an HP 8510 automatic network analyzer, features excellent accuracy, traceable to NIST standards.
