Pattern Input/Output Generator
With the HP E1452A Pattern Input/Output module, you can program a
variety of input signals for testing various digital devices. The
resulting digital output from the device under test may be compared to
expected patterns. Each of its four 8-bit ports can be statically
programmed to output, record, or perform real-time compare. Memory
behind each I/O pin ensures a high throughput test.
Digital Input/Output
The HP E1330B Digital Input/Output provides versatile digital sensing
and control of simple digital devices. It contains four 8-bit input or
output data ports with three separate handshake lines for each port.
Including standard GPIO modes, there are a variety of other handshake
types available.
The HP E1458A 96-Channel Digital Input/Output is functionally similar to
the HP E1330B but is intended for larger applications, such as digital
subassembly test or data acquisition and control. This digital I/O
device contains 12 identical 8-bit bi-directional data ports consisting
of eight data lines and six handshake/control lines.
Isolated Digital Output
For applications that require isolated digital outputs or high-level
digital outputs, you can use the isolated outputs of the HP E1442B
64-Channel General Purpose Switch. Pull-up resistors may be installed
by the user for variable-level digital output operation.
