My fellow reverse-engineerers,

I have an interesting problem. I’m trying to install Softice, but every time I try to add a line to my Autoexec.bat file the changes I make get over-written upon re-boot. I am running Windows Me. Do you know what is causing this? I have Norton Anti virus, but I disabled that and that didn’t help any. ANY changes I make to Autoexec.bat are over-written, even if its just a REM statement. Any insight you can offer would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Roger Bacon

OK, I found Stank's post over in the other forum. I downloaded the file and will give it a go tonight. Thanks for the help Stank. I guess I should have read some more before asking for help.
For any others who might be having the same problem, I'll re-post his solution below.

Bye"
