but they cannot patent something that is not new!! It is a common practice from a life!!
Everyone and his brother has used such type of breakpoint!

BTW, this patent has not been issued as far as I can tell.
After poking around the US patent office for a while, there are a few patents for such silliness. Just type in breakpoint or whatever you desire.

OK. I'll join the fun and patent "Heaven & Hell." And I'll also patent the process which determines to which of "my other two patents" you all are going to be assigned!

I have patented the word "patent" and its derivatives.
I have also tried to patented the alphabet, but they told me some millions allready applied for that

i patent everything and any patents that will happen in the future except the patents above and the ones already patented ... ;p
