Hi

I have a problems with IDA.
When i select module that IDA want it, it always says:
"File xxx can't be accepted as module 'xxx'"
I try to unpack it, but the result is same (help don't work)
I am doing something wrong...what?

Looks like your using the pirated 4.04 version of IDA. I think it's a bug but I never really investingated. I have the same problem so that's why I stopped using it. There are two options: 1.buy it 2.Get the freeware and the Automatic parameters recognition script for IDA v.4.04+ by +Spath.

The v4.04 Shock Version also seems
to have that cannot accept Problem

WHACKED OFF SHOCK FTP SITE

NO PROBLEMS.

WORKS OK FOR ME.

WHAT FILE GIVEZ YOU THIS ERROR WHILST OPENING...?

Hi!

What do you mean "What file"? When i am disassembling exe file, and IDA want dll, then IDA says that it can't accept this file (dll) as this dll....bla...bla...bla.

There is a registry key that sets the dimentions of the status window. Find it and your problem will be fixed.

If I really have understanded what your problem is, there is nothing wrong in your IDA v4.04.

When IDA tells you "Please select module for xxxx.DLL" it is asking you the .IDS module for that DLL. This module contains the necessary informations about your required DLL and more.

You can then generate your own module for the DLL using the provided tools.
