recently I tried meddling with /screendump and had crashes everytime I do it.
Computer: PII 350MHz, 128MB
Softice: 4.05.334
Icedump: 6.0.22 and 6.0.23

Anyway, I managed to find out why. Think it is a bug in icedump. But a resolvable one. 8)

Basically, I have this nasty habit of not setting bp, just Ctrl D and tried dumping screen. I get blue screen of death. When I set faults on (CrackZ's advice), I see the error in IFSMSG or something. 8P

Anyway, this BOD does not occur if I break into Sice with a breakpoint. It dumps wonderfully.

Question is, is it a bug in icedump or is it required that I break into sice first with bps and not Ctrl D to dump?

I have the same problem....with /screendump AND /dump (in certain mem areas hehe) ....thx for the tip, I'll try it using a bp & see if I can get it to work for me ;-)
