Is there a S-ICE extension that can grab S-ICE screen and save it as bmp file (or any other pic format) ? I know for ScreenDump (~part of IceDump) but it can only save snap to text file (with SDC converter even in HTML)... What about BMP ?! Is it possible at all ? If not, how to GENERATE (exactly the same! - just like S-ICE's screen) bmp from that text dump ?

What font S-ICE uses (what size, in different modes), what colors, dimensions...

BTW, where can I find tutorial about writing S-ICE extensions ? (how to access SoftICE's internal variables etc.)

Heh, heh. I think what they're trying to say is check out the Softice EXtension (SEX) project by defiler and ultraschall. (search for 'sex' at www.suddendischarge.com)

If you can write an ASM routine to dump a screen to a bitmap, it might be possible to incorporate it into the SEX project and have it dump the SI screen.

If you look at the beginning of the Using SoftIce.pdf file, you see a nice screen dump. I wonder if they just took a picture of it or whether it's a true screen dump?
