I have problems getting Softice working.
I have Softice from developerstudio 2.01 installed. Startup mode is Manual.
When I start softice, softice pops up and I get this error:

I've tried with the ntice.sys from:
http://www.numega.com/drivercentral/utilfiles/ntice.sys

But that gives me the same problem.

Running Windows 2000 pro without service pack.
I have been running this before but I can't get it working now for some reason

Anyone have any ideas?

I got this fixed!

I did two things, so I'm not 100% what did it but I think it was adding this to the registry:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NTice]
"KbdMethod"=dword:67416E5A


I also set "Do not patch keyboard Driver"

But then I removed that "Do not patch keyboard Driver" and softice is still working

So I guess it's the registry 'hack' that did it.
