Hi,
I'd like to know how you reversers keep track of your ongoing projects. Personally, I tend to have a poor memory, so a few weeks or months after working on a little target or project important details of what I have done got lost.
That's why I started taking notes in a few open notepads...
like, I have a TODO list with high/low priority tasks and many random notes. Only problem: it's getting a mess.
Do you have any 'techniques' or strategies to save your gained experience for future use? Or don't you have any problems remembering or organizing facts?
Thanks

A notebook... and good pen/pencil works nice for me. Some of the guys I know use TODO.TXT in different folders for easy use. Yet others use Treepad for storing notes (type of crack, eg: Time/Flexlm/SentinelLM/etc makes a good parent folder) and yet others are like me, using paper and pen.
Idea is to keep the notes about the crack and more importantly, the *method* you discovered/used to achieve that crack. The area where you keep it is unimportant.
Alternatively, I am not much of an expert in *time & task* management so I cannot give you any advise on that.

Pen & paper is enough, but don't follow this method

I remember some time ago, HACKER's tutorial recommendation to write all the notes with paper and pencil and never in computer files.
If and when you get caught, the computer's HD is searched with a fine tooth comb in search for incriminating evidence

PaperBack is a free application that allows you to back up your precious files on the ordinary paper in the form of the oversized bitmaps.

If you're in America take lots of notes on paper. Then when you need to explain yourself to the judge say it was for educational purposes. Then you'll prolly get lucky with 8 years and a child rapist for a cellmate.
