First, tell US what YOU have done to attempt to find the meaning of this information.

Perhaps you should do a little research on "Remote SoftICE."

Again, no one should be expected to "hand" you a solution, until you SHOW that you have made an effort to "help yourself." Otherwise, you are just being lazy and want someone to take you hand and solve your problem for you.

i have tried many things to try to sort it out i used this one as a last resort because i didnt know what else to do i
1)try starting softice in differnet start modes (boot, manual ect)
2)looked through the settings program at my network settings (all off)
3)looked at my winice.dat file
4)looked at the softice help file

so what is coursing that message to come up i havent (i dont think set up a host) so why is it saying that the host is debugging my pc

please help

What you DIDN'T DO (or at least didn't say you did) was any of your OWN research on the net about this issue.

Until you show YOU have done that, your Thread is in danger of "disappearing" for failure to take "clear" advise.

This is your "last" warning on this issue!

Ah the "force" is weak in this one.

So far you haven't actually used your "brain" to THINK about the issue!

Have you actually RTFM on installation of Softice, and have you actually thought to ask yourself: "Why is it attempting to do remote debugging" and/or "what the hell is that"???

Are you REALLY attempting to do debugging on TWO machines?? Does that suggest ANYTHING to you??? Feel the force.

There is no "try"! There is only do or do not!

Try googling and reading "The Big Softice How To" and just maybe you will get some ideas about which parts of Softice you should or shouldn't install if you are "not" actually going to do "remote debugging."

And what exactly are you doing reviving a month-old thread with completely irrelevant information?

Maybe there wasn't anything good on the cartoon channel at the time.
