ah ok, my avatar looked fine to me, i could always see it, infact i
just downloaded it again from the webpage and tried to re.upload it
however i got the message "You may not upload animated images." :-p
anyway changed it now.

Yes, you avatar was just a red "x" for the rest of us before you just did your reload.

We'll have to wait until Woody checks in for setting up the virtual hosting and you access credentials. That's his department.

No, his avatar was a really cool animated CD player that apparently everyone except JMI could see. Now it's just a boring old CD since he had to downgrade.

It "strange" if you all could see it except me.

I have vBulletin running on three different machines here, with three different dated backups, and on all three there was just a red "x" where his avatar should have been. I also saw only the red "X" when I looked at his name in the Members List.

I also note that Bengaly clearly has an "animated" avatar and I believe there are a couple of others. Apparently, this need further investigation.

[EDIT] OK! This is set in Usergroup setting:

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit Usergroup -> Can Upload Animated Avatar and is currently set to "no."

We'll await imput from Woody as to whether he wants this changed to "yes." Apparently, at one time, it was set to "yes" and an update of vBulletin might have changed the default to "no".
