You wanna know the best part.......

Click on the link that says "W95/Champagne.gen virus Search Threat Library ("http://search.mcafee.com/search?q=W95/Champagne.gen%20virus&site=Virus&num=10&sort=date:L:d1&output=xml_no_dtd&proxystylesheet=default_frontend&client=default_frontend&getFields=description&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&filter=0&")".

It leads to a dead end.

So what do we make of this ?

We can scare the shit out of people by telling them they have a virus.

We can also not tell the whole truth which is this particular virus will only run on a win95 box AND we no longer support a virus database for win95.

Thanks a lot you fuckers, smear my name with mis-information.

Oh, I have an idea. .

They have a program (or script) that unpacks archives it downloads automatically from websites to "c:\temp\unzip\" and this program logs it's own actions as something that happened by the archive itself.

oh, ok, i can see how one might disagree with the wording of, "+Sandman (+Sandman.zip) made the following modifications to the hard drive:"
even so, it's cool that they share their backend automation results with end-users like this.

I hadn't noticed until I was looking at it with the siteadvisor that exetools links to miibeian.gov.cn.

It kind of brings the whole government censorship business home to roost.

On a lighter note, the results for well-known crack sites are pure comedy gold. It's like a little game: see how many clicks it takes to reach a green site.
