Hi,
I currently try to find a way to change/edit pass1 & pass2 of HASP4. I've tried to read out the contain of the eeprom. Attached is the read out result with pass1 and pass2 as the file name. I only found serial number and contain of the memory. Does anyone know the address of pass1 and pass2, how to calculate the pass1 and pass2 from the eeprom?

...and what have YOU done besides dumping the dong and posting it here?

I have compare the dump result (using UCL HASP dumper) and the read out of eeprom result. The only think that I can find are the serial number and the contain of memory. I believe the pass1 and pass2 were encrypted in eeprom data. I've tried to load the .bin from eeprom to IDA and load it as binary/Raw file and choose processor intel 80x86metapc. IDA couldn't identify the entry point, I've no idea about the entry point in bin file and I tried to select one by one as an entry point but still couldn't find enlighten...

NO!
What the
bloody hell makes you think the dongle has an x86 processor in it?!?!
You DEFINITELY need to go read a dozen more articles on how dongs work! CrackZ has a few, now go find the rest.

Hi,
as youself pointed out you are dealing with a simple memory, in this case a eeprom. It's not very common that this memory contains any type of instructions although i had an target which contained a few instructions which where needed to execute the save function of my target...
i agree with LLXX you should read a bit more about the topic. Concerning pass1 and 2 there is enough information out which can be found by searching a bit.
Have fun,

Hayya soybean...
Do you mean: you want to edit/change psw1,psw2 & id.
Not a easy task without special hardware equip (hasp4 reprogrammer). you can edit/change it by hasp4 programmer.
