You know there's a link to it on the bottom, right? (semi-broken, but if you can't figure it out you don't deserve it anyway...)

What's "semi-broken" about the link? It lists the index of the CD's contents. It's not supposed to be a download link for the "entire" CD, itself.

Aw cheet, ees broken again. There's supposed to be an index file in the main RCE-CD directory but is now missing. I think Woodmann made one up once so the site could actually be browsed properly instead of getting a directory listing.
For example, Sandman's link should be referenced from a main index.html/php file to point to
http://www.woodmann.com/RCE-CD/+Sandman/index2.html
You still have a copy of that Woodmann or do we need to make another one up?

Kayaker:
I just found Index; index-001-index-005 on one of my old downloads for the RCE-CD folder. I'll upload them and see what we get.
Will edit this Post when completed.
[Edit] I've uploaded 6 files: index.html;index-001.html; index-002.html; index-003.html; index-004.html; and index-005.html.
With this link, I think we are seeing what you had in mind:
http://www.woodmann.com/RCE-CD/index.html
I'll fix the link at the bottom of the Forums to point to that.
[EDIT 2] Link fixed. The correct one is index.html. The others may be deleted. index-005.html is actually a link to Fravia's page.

Kayaker:
Do we also want an "Index" for the RCE-CD which identifies both the "zip" files AND would permit the browsing of the individual "sites" directly from the server? I've looked at several of the folders and they seem to have either an individual "index" or "main" file included in their contents, but I don't recall how long it may have been since they were not "linked" in that manner. We have "empty" slots at the bottom of the Forum where we could 'link" such an index, for example something like "Browse the RCE-CD."

That's sort of what I was thinking JMI, a 'browse' index pointing to the proper main page files for each of the sites so they could be, well, browsed.

Oh Oh! The files aren't "zips" and that old "index" file doesn't actually connect to the various "indexes" to start the "sites" themselves. The +ORC site, for example, would be linked to:
http://www.woodmann.com/RCE-CD-SITES/+ORC%20Hunt/orc.html
and Zomo's Site to
http://www.woodmann.com/RCE-CD-SITES/Zomo's%20Site/index.html
Guess we need to redo a "main index" to the individual sites or actually make them "zip" files.

Just to update this Thread with information I just posted in a Thread in The Newbie Forum, when the server was rebuilt the last couple of times the copy of the "RCE-CD" file I uploaded was actually a copy of the Sites, themselves, and not the folder containing the "zip" files containing those sites. I have now renamed that folder to RCE-CD-SITES.
You can now browse those sites directly by going to:
http://www.woodmann.com/RCE-CD-SITES/
opening the folder you wish, and finding the individual "index.html" file for the individual site. At the moment, you will have to used your "reversing" skills somewhat, because not all the "index" files are actually named "index. For example, to browse the +OCR site, you would go to:
http://www.woodmann.com/RCE-CD-SITES/+ORC%20Hunt/orc.html
(note the %20 [space] currently in the title. We will probably eventually fix that.)
As I said in the other Thread:
I have found another copy of the RCE-CD folder which actually has the "zip" files which are referenced by the "index" file I just removed from the RCE-CD-SITES and I will start the uploading the folder with the zip files to a "new" RCE-CD folder which is underway now. I have also found a five-part zip file collection which appears to be a zip of the whole CD in four larger zips, which I will include in that folder.
[EDIT] O.K. The link at the bottom of the Forums for the RCE-CD now connects to an index page which displays the various sites as downloadable "zip" files. I haven't uploaded the 5-part "entire set" yet, but it's uploading now.

why not adding
http://www.woodmann.com/RCE-CD-SITES/

to the slot, where "the Analyst" is,and then move "the Analyst" to above slot since the slot is empty. If someone want to browse and not download the site(zip).I think it will be useful rather than searching this thread inorder to find the path i.e (a) site zips for those who want to keep in their HD,
(b) Browse site for those who simply want to check/refresh their knowledge.
So, we have two RCE-CD related, one for zips and another for Browse. If there's a space in our server and no trouble in adding this link.

We will be adding the http://www.woodmann.com/RCE-CD-SITES/ "officially" to the links below, but I have not had time yet to construct an "index file" with links to all the correct start pages. In the mean time, that link works and, with a little searching, you can find the correct file to start the individual sites.
