Right, so I got the newest ntice.sys file, and everytime I ctrl+D to softICE, it goes full screen, and then nothing happens...i can quit with F5, but I can't get anything to come up...any ideas?

I went through the same stuff. The NTICE.SYS update is for Windows XP, not Win2K and gives you a weird screen that works great if you had infrared vision.

Go back to the original NTICE.SYS and update your (NTKRN.dll)? file. (It's on the Numega update page. I don't remember the exact name.) In your Winice.DAT file insert a line that says: NTSYMBOLS = ON.

Now, if I could just get it to recognize the SP2 API names.

Best of luck!

The update is for Softice Driver Studio 2.01.
Download driver studio 2.01. Works fine with SP2 if you apply the patch. Just look for DS201.exe

Any suggestions for search engines to help find DS201.exe? Have tried the basics, but no luck. Am I too late?
Thanks,
