last time i cracked derive 5 which is protected with vbox 4.3. Then i wanted to crack f-secure antivirus 4.09 which is also protected with vbox 4.3.
I located the oep and made an infinite loop. then i started procdump and configured it as it says in dezzy's tut (about vbox-config worked with derive). i tried to dump the bastard but all i got was a msgbox saying that this process cant be dumped. does anyone know how to fix this problem?
thanx

Actually, if you use guw32 by unpacking gods at
http://www.absolutelock.de/construction/frame.html you can defeat vbox on win98. i know this is a lame response to your question, but if you really want the prog, this may help. i have used this on several vobx protected progs and it has worked well.

I had the same problem with f-sec av version 4.09 also. There was a message on this board a while ago suggesting that using procdump's "dump (partial)" might work, but it didn't work for me. Trw2000's makepe didn't work either. I tried using Icedump to just dump the memory range with the program in it, but I wasn't able to get it to work.
