Hi there,

is possible to download the pdf and logs of First Reversity Session on Crypto and Reverse Engineering here:

http://evilcry.altervista.org/Speech.pdf
http://evilcry.altervista.org/reversity.log

(Don't "click" the links. "Copy & Paste" them into your browser)

Have a nice Day,
Evilcry

Those links are broken -- they redirect to http://it.altervista.org/

Fixed.

Files also attached here, for archival purposes.

While dELTA may have added "www" to the links, as disavowed said, they are still being "redirected" to http://it.altervista.org/ and not the download the "pdf and logs of First Reversity Session on Crypto and Reverse Engineering."

Maybe evilcry could post the actual working links to the material, even though dELTA has attached it.

Taking another look at it, the links weren't the problem to begin with (so I just changed them back).

The problem is rather that altervista checks the referer HTTP header field of any incoming requests for files, and if it isn't empty or coming from inside the altervista domain itself, the request fails, and you are redirected to their main page instead. This is a common technique used to avoid free webspace being used to host (often heavy, and most important advert free) file downloads rather than entire websites.

So, don't click those links, rather, copy/paste them into your browser address field and press enter (thus ensuring that the referer HTTP header field is empty), then it will work.

Thanks. They work fine copying and pasting.

I added a note, in RED to evilcry's post so everyone doesn't have to read down to the end to figure it out!

Well thank YOU for writing the article. As compared to that, fixing the links was not too hard.

Desides, we let dELTA do all the "heavy lifting."

No esther, that doesn't work unless you have a browser plugin/setting or firewall that filters away all referer header fields in HTTP requests.
