While browsing the site I digged up these two essays:
Borland's C++ builder v4 Emulating inputs on a timebomb protection by Tsehp

Rainbow trials Delphi five enterprise trial edition by macilaci ~Recommended

which I would like to take up again for a review. I found the Delphi program still availble for download however the C++ builder seems to be updated since then and I could not find a downloadable trial version. So is there any chance that you would still have this?
Else I will have to do with Delphi.

Besides I would like a confirmation especially of macilaci (since your is the "original" essay) that I am allowed to refer to your essay and recommenting some of the stuff you wrote.

Thanks in advance.

borland's c++ builder is actually v5 and still offers the same protection.
No need to update the essay, and you can order for a trial cd on inprise's site.

It's not my intention to copy you guys essay's. Instead I want to show that you can bypass the protection by making real license keys instead of shaky patches and exploring some useful methods to targets like these.

Good idea, but the cd is about 140 megs; much too big for me to upload. You still can find the version 4 and apply your essay on it,
I could test on my 5 version before you release if you want.

I got a better idea. I actually dont need the program itself if you can just supply me with the info I need. Then you can test it out afterwards.
I'll write you a email later with the details.

Thanks in advance.

You can try generating keys (hope youŽll find an effective method to get them), but better would be to unpack the whole app to speed it up a little and get some additional stability. I would like do this, but IŽm short in time.
Good Luck
