I'd say your first thing to do would be to contact the company who makes the software that the dongle protects and tell them about your situation. They might send you a replacement dongle for a fee.

Again, it is obvious that you have not read our FAQ as you were directed to do on your way in. Had you read the FAQ you would know that we do not "solve" problems such as what you claim for you. The people here are not going to "crack" your dongle "for you."

This is a place where people who are willing to make a "personal effort" might receive some "guidance" along the way, AFTER they have actually shown some personal effort to solve their own problem and AFTER they have shown that they have researched their problem on the board and the net to discover and attempt to learn what information may be available.

What appears obvious from your first two posts is that you really don't know very much about "reverse engineering" and want a "simple" solution provided to you for which YOU don't have to do very much work or actually learn much of how the process of reversing dongle software works.

Although it is always possible that I am drawing the wrong conclusion, that is ALL that currently appears from your two posts. If you actually want to LEARN how to reverse this dongle software YOURSELF, there are people here who could help you. However, this would be a long and difficult journey, based upon your apparent skill level at the moment.

Again, as I said before, if you want someone here to "solve" YOUR PROBLEM for you, you are in the WRONG PLACE!!!

Hello JMI and all others,

1) Thank you for that very helpfull and educative site. I am only scratching
on the surface of software protection and reversing but come here if I can find time to learn with great joy and to find lots of usefull infos and stuff at a single place. Thank you for operating this site!

2) Sometimes I even stroll through the newbie section. It is absolutely astonishing what kind of questions arrive here regularly. Seems to show that we have a high rate of illiteracy(kind of) already. - And I admire the patience you and others (most times) have to answer these posts..

Kind regards,

Marcovaldo
