Been tring for hours to step through a progy to where the trial expired message box pops up. But i get to a "sysenter" call & the message box arrives.I'm stuck can anybody help?????

Thanks for the reply, was searching for the wrong thing! As i am a newbie reading through all that i think i just confused myself & still can't find where it breaks back into the program after "sysenter" is there somewhere else it can get the message box from? searched all parts of the program & found no refrence to the message box.

You are probably tracing user32 functions that create the box or something and the real check is done earlier.

You've probably failed to read the faq,no commercial link stuff should be pasted in the forum
