Hello,

I am new to this forum and I am learning as I go

I have a program that is using Sheriff 3.0 protection and I am not sure how to go about looking at it.

Any help on a direction I would appreciate it!

Thanks,

Lisa

Your "first direction" is to go and actually READ THE FAQ, as you were instructed to do on your way into these Forums.

Had you already do so, you would already know that we expect those who come here with questions to have already done their own homework by researching their target on the interned and on these Forums.

sheriff 3.0 (I got 492 hits)

or

"sheriff 3.0" tutorial (found something in Russian which might be a tool)

or perhaps even

"sherrif 3.0 "

and YOU actually read what YOU discover and come back with a more well thought out question which meets the requirements of our Rules.

[Edit:] Do you actually know anything about the "Tools of the Trade" with which one attempts to view programs which are running, or trying to run on your Computer? If not we have a whole Forum section devoted to the "Tools of the Trade" and we have a CRCETL (Collaborative Reverse Code Engineering Tools Library) linked at the top of the Forums on your way in.

Thanks. I have read the FAQ before I posted and yes I have read some tutorials that I have found on this forum.

I am able to get the 4 secret keys and generate a license but it does not seem to work "100%" as I said I am still learning. I appreciate your help and your comments earlier. I will try to read a couple of the ones above you suggested.

Thanks!

I was able to figure out how create licenseses for this protection which was very simple as many have mentioned in previous posts. I just do not know how to find the "call home" routine that lets the software communicate to the license server. I was unable to find it located in any posts.
