I have successfully installed the Softkey Solutions emulator using Edgehasp.exe .

It appears the emulator is tied to the computer on which the dmp file was created (Please correct me if I am wrong here).

Since the process of creating the emulator requires the dongle I am unable to use it on a computer that does not have a parallel port.

Is there a way around this problem? I would like to use my software on a laptop.

Thanks. I will study vusbbus and see if I can understand it.

OK - first problem with vusbbus. I cant find any information about it. Google turns up threads on this and the ReTeam forums. The search function on both forums reveals the same threads. I've read hundreds of posts to these threads and I still don't know much about vusb.

I can't even find the file. I saw several "download" sites, some of which pretend to be rapidshare and all of which lead to a questionable pay site called dll-provider.com.

Is HASPHL2008 some variant of vusb? I downloaded a file from rapidshare that was vaguely listed with the letters vusb and it turned out to be HASPHL2008.

Obviously, I am missing something here. I've googled every permutation of vusb, Chingachguk, Denger2K that I could think of and what I get is as mentioned above.

I already have emulation working for my software so I hope you will understand that I am sincerely trying to learn this process and not simply acquire a fix. Unfortunately, I seem to be looking in the wrong places. Of course it could also be lack of ability on my part.

Is there a FAQ, short history, or other documentation for vusb available. http://www.woodmann.com/crackz/Dongles.htm has been an excellent source of general information but it doesn't mention vusb.

Thank you kindly.
