I don't know if here is the right place to ask but I'm interested in studying more deeply malware analysis and I'd like to know if there's some place people exchange malware, like IRC channel, ftp, whatever.
Any help will be appreciated.

http://www.offensivecomputing.net/ is a good place to start. They have a hash database you can search from.

I presume it is associated with the level of spam you would receive.

On a side note, I've been using nepenthes to grab stuff, and the selection of malware identified is limited in variants, but large in numbers (i.e. large number of duplicate zbot samples etc). So, I would suggest offensivecomputing for everything.

A coleção informada pelo torrent é a da vx.netlux.org e ja está em sua coleção a mais de 2 anos e a coleção da offensive também não possui muitas novidades já que eles definem que qualquer arquivo enviado seja malware sem uma prévia análise. É uma coleção que contém muitos falsos-positivos, como notepad, regedit, etc... e também muitos virus falsos, gerados com ferramentas como a do Vecna por exemplo. O que recomendo é vc criar falsos-emails e se cadastrar em listas de spams... receberá sempre os últimos lançamentos ;-)
