just a question.. regarding the license itself on execution. Ive created a few licenses and noticed i get "no license string is available for feature "Featurenamehere ver versionhere" on host no-net". That happens when I make it standalone license type long key encrypted, and no trial or fixed dates. Possibly i extracted or am puting in the vendor Id improperly or have placed incorrect info into the lic gen. If i set it to network i get "trial period exhausted blahblah". If the vendor ID is incorrect the program will
choke. check the version, plus the flags which
are passed into LSRequest. Without knowing the target, I can't help much.

Like Nolan Blender wrote it sounds like a incorrect Vendor ID.

I used to get that message too in the past so I know all about it

What is your return code from LSrequest?

o yeah..you guys hit it right on the dot!!. Turns out i had all the correct info from the LSRequest and from computevendorcode , however, when i was generating a license i had placed the info wrong into softice while modifiying memory. the return code was for say XYZ but when i put in softice i put it ZYX ( : thx blender/cyberheg. Hope others check out this message and dont make that same mistake ( : hehe thanks again.
