I am trying to crack my updated version of program. It opens in Trial Mode until you register. Not sure how to find where serials are located as you have to open Tools to then open Register window.

I have both IDA Pro and Ollydbg and have been un-successful is finding location. Is there a program that will open up the dll that you enter the serial into ?

Any help will be appreciated. Complete Newbie so forgive any questions that appear stupid.

you may want to look at Lena's tuts or check out some of the tuts from crackme.de. If it doesn't look like you are making an effort on trying to reverse it yourself, no one is going to help you. You may also want to post information on what have you done so far, and where have you got stuck at, include code.

Thanks Owl, will definitely heed your advice. I am working my way through Lena's tutorials but have been extremely busy lately. When I get stuck, which will be as soon as I finish tutorials I will post info...have a great long weekend
