Hi,

i have a problem and can't seem to find a solution for it .

I need to emulate a HASL HL dongle but i don't have the original one .

I'm totally new to hasp cracking so i need some advices .

Is it possible to do this ?

Is there an emulator for HASP HL that can be manually configured ?

I also thought to change vendor ID code in the application and set to a vendor ID of a dongle i own , then analyze the program to see what data it will look for from the dongle and load it to my own dongle . (Emulate the dongle with another original dongle).

Could this work ?

Thanks.

PS:I know that this could sound as a shortcut , that i could analyze myself hasp and find a way to bypass it , but i don't have time . I need to have access to the application so i'm looking for someone who has experience on hasp and who could point me to the right direction .

Edit: I've done a step further , emulated the "fake" dongle and changed vendor ID in application . Now the app recognise the dongle but obviously can't find the feature .
Does anybody know if it's possible to add features to the emulated dongle without having a hasp master key ?

Finally solved my problem.

Changed VendorID on target application .

Reversed app license request .

Emulated a generic HASP-HL dongle and loaded into it the required data.

Ok , it's not HASP-HL breaking but it worked ! .
