HI,

i work on a program, that is protected with armadillo. I used the Armadillo Deprotector 1.1, to get an exe file, that is not protected. But when I try to run that file, it crashes. In the helpfile of Armadillo Deprotector, there this problem is also discribed. I have to find the entry point of the program. In the readme, there is an instruction, how to do that, but I couldnīt do that with success. Perhaps somebody can help me how to find the entry point of the programm which was protected with armadillo???

Thanks

Try my tiny ArmKiller from ProTools, it works better than Armadillo Deprotector

I know, In an earlier version of the program, I used Armadillo Killer, and it worked fine. But now It seems, that they used a newer version of Armadillo to protect their program. When I try to "un-armadillo" it with your Armadillo Killer, then my Computer crashes. And that seems not to be a problem with my Computer. This happens on all my three computers.
So I used Armadillo Deprotector to get a unpacked file. But this file has to be modified, to set the correct entry point. But I donīt understand the instructions, the programmer of Armadillo Deprotector made in his Readmefile of Armadillo Deprotector.
So Iīm still looking for help.

Thanks

hello

my unpacker works pretty good.
the point is, what does a guy learn using a tool that does all the job ?
my explanation to find the entry point is good..
and work every time, you just gotta try it again
the other tool works fine , and does all the job for sure
but i don't see where it is better than mine tho...
each unpacker unpack files pretty good.
i don't like the 'nananere, mine ownz urs'

anyway, feel free to mail me , if you are still stuck with the OEP, i will be pleased to help you.

regards,

Hi,

yes, I use the newest version of Armadillo Killer, but this version also creates a system crash, when I try to unpack the file. So I have to use Armadillo Deprotector. I will try it once again to find the Entry point. If I canīt find it, I will e-mail The Analyst, for help.

Thanks
