Hello,

Here is an interesting reading:
http://www.eweekeurope.co.uk/news/open-source-researcher-reverse-engineers-skype-30912 ("http://www.eweekeurope.co.uk/news/open-source-researcher-reverse-engineers-skype-30912")

I think it is question of time when someone will create malicious code(virus, plugin?) based on Skype, such that silently and insensibly will translate video and voice from the victim's conference rooms, offices, homes...

Or... it already exists..???

Two french security researchers worked on Skyp before. I don't think it has been as far as this protocol reversing.
If you're interested it's called "Silver needle in the Skype" by Mr&Mr Biondi,Desclaux.

I'd be surprised that no company or gov developed the concepts developed in this presentation.
