hi, my apologies for this interruption.
we had too much cpu time consumed in the past, so the isp disabled
cgi to save their server for the moment.
I had to reconstruct the database and improve the mb settings.
We are actually doing some speed tests to see if everything is ok,
then disavowed's cgi should be enabled saturday 8 am gmt.
but if this slows down the server again... we'll see.

I don't know if this is a problem only for me or some one other ppl have noticed. Since the board is up and running after the last interruption I consistently get a "The document contained no data Try again later of contact Administrator" every time I click on a thread. If I just ignored it, the thread will eventually load and I can even post (like I am doing) but I suspect the board has a small, inconsequential, but nagging problem.

I have the same problem, but only with version 4 of Opera. It looks like the thread topic i.e.

http://www.woodmann.net/cgi-bin/Ultraboard/UltraBoard.cgi?action=Read&BID=5&TID=1723&SID=

doesn't get redirected to the actual file i.e.

http://www.woodmann.net/Ultraboard/Public/HTML/B5/1723-1.topic.shtml

Changing redirect settings in Opera4 doesn't seem to make a difference. Version 5 Opera is OK, but slower than v4, IE works but is, well IE slow.

Yes it's normal, the mb now uses shtml, and some browsers have maybe not this feature.
I was forced to set the mb like this, there's a lot of people connecting here and it's improving everyday, the site hosts also disavowed's cgi scripts and we have to share some bandwidth with him.

you are right,some browsers does not works good in msg board
Netscape 4.04 is not working properly, it prompts a message box "document does not contain data" it can
still browse after clicking "0k",thats just a minor problem
IE works fine :-D

thanks esther, I just hope that one day, someone could set up a
reverse site as good as disavowed's, but oriented on reversing, on my side I'm not talented enough to build such good looking pages, and don't have anymore time for this, revirgin and administrating this board
is far enough for me.
I could have put some single html pages here, it would be faster but we could loose some mb functions.
