Gee, we missed our chance to join the 1000's of other websites to protest the SOPA legislation.
I only learned of it when trying to access Wikipedia today, and just now to Reddit. While I haven't formulated an opinion on the legislation, I must say that the widespread blackout of just about every relevant site sure is an effective social engineering experiment to raise awareness of a topic. Maybe a gimmick, maybe a statement, but it sure worked!
