Hiya,
Aplologies if this is posted twice, I did send it before. Yes it does accept shtml, I am able to read the last two posts on nb forum and all yesterday. Arrgh now I'm getting a "your nik has already been taken" and now "your email has been taken" while I'm trying to send this.
Just cos our alexey annoys you, no need to take it out on me :-).

I guess if you are able to read this posting you have figured out your problem. Is it the "document contains no data" message window? just clicking OK will make it go

hiya Bratcher,

thanks for the reply. No its "post not found" I'm
getting with just the option "go back". Appears I can read anything posted after a certain time today but nothing else.

There is some strange shtml problem going on with the boards. Using either Opera5 or IE5 with default settings, no firewall, the cgi script doesn't seem to kick me to the thread unless it's in html format. And yet I can view the shtml topics OK directly by clicking on the links. The threads seem to physically exist as both forms, i.e the latest threads for the Newbies Forum at

Even this board seems to contain both forms, probably why some of us with problems can even actually access these threads

I get the same "go back only, do not Pass Go" option as Hz. The strange this is I was reading ALL the threads OK earlier today at work with Netscape, but in some of the cases I *did* get the "OK" button to press on and it did eventually load the thread file. Not so with these other browsers. There must be some subtle configuration difference between the browser's and how they handle the cgi script?

Anybody else having these experiences?
