ok,

total noob here. I've been trying for my own pleasure to understand how licensing.dll based activation works.
I have no idea where to start.

i know the program in question uses 2 dll files, because when I rename them the activation screen doesn't show up, but the program doesn't work.
I read a post about opening the file licensing dll but it was really had to understand.

where should I start?

I am noob, but I am insistent and I do understand enough.

would love some help.
